Hermes Hotel - Malia (Crete)

The hotel's decoration is lovely, with elegant and cozy furniture that made me feel right at home. The general areas of the hotel are well-maintained and clean, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. As a senior woman, I appreciated the hotel's accessibility, with ramps and elevators making it easy for me to move around without any difficulties.

I would have wished for more activities specifically tailored for senior people to enhance their vacation experience. The children working there were polite and helpful, but it would have been nice to have more options and services that catered to the needs and preferences of older guests.

The room is very clean and the staff are loyal. Swimming pool in the hotel was nice. The bed was comfortable, nothing too much trouble;)))

Changed towels every two days, changed bed linen three times in seven days, took out the garbage every day...

Far from the sea, walk not 12 minutes, but more. 25 minutes, maybe. And in the heat, imagine it.

stayed here before, but Hermes Hotel exceeded all expectations this time. The room was spacious and clean, the staff was incredibly kind and helpful, and the location was perfect. Can't wait to come back again soon!

The staff was very kind and accommodating, going out of their way to make our stay comfortable. They even upgraded our room to a bigger one when we mentioned a slight noise issue. The rooms were spacious and clean, offering a convenient kitchenette. The location was ideal, with the main street and bus station just a stone's throw away. Plus, the pool was large and inviting, perfect for a refreshing dip.

there was a lack of attention to detail when it came to cleanliness. Some of our friends had rooms that weren't cleaned regularly, and hot water even stopped working during our stay.

I got great value for my money at this hotel. The room was really nice and modern, and the location was perfect - close to the strip and beach but away from the noise. The highlight of my stay was definitely the staff, who were friendly and helpful. The two brother owners, Mike and Yannis, along with their daughter Maria and their mum Maria, were really good too make sure I had everything I needed. Even the security guard Elias and the cleaner Rhona were always there with a smile. I can't rate this hotel experience highly enough and I can't wait to go back and stay with my new Greek family!

The only thing that could have made the breakfast better was a wider selection of items.

The units at Hermes Hotel were amazing! I loved the fully equipped kitchenette, perfect for making quick meals. The flat-screen TV made it feel just like home, and the private bathroom was clean and spacious. The fridge was a bonus too!

The only downside for me was the tile/marble floor in the studio. It felt a bit cold and hard under my feet.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room we were initially assigned had a bit of noise, but when we brought it up to the owner, Mike, he was kind and upgraded us to a better and bigger room. The room itself was very clean and spacious, and the swimming pool was large and deep, perfect for a refreshing dip. The location was also great, with the main street just 50 meters away and the bus station conveniently close-by. Plus, the hotel was not expensive at all. I highly recommend this hotel for a fantastic stay.
